Exploring Northern Italian Cuisine (3/23/20)
Monday, March 23 @ 6:30pm
Hands-On Class (approx. 2.5 hours)
With influences from the rest of Western Europe, Northern Italian cuisine can be a sharp contrast to that which is regarded as “classic Italian cooking.” Join us for an exciting look into what makes the regions of Piemonte, Valle D’aorta, and Lombardia so special. Ingredients and flavors that will be used in the class are rosemary, sage, cured meats, cheese, polenta, and filled pastas. We’ll be cooking up some dishes such as, but not limited to, Pork Milanese with Radicchio Salad, Potato Gnocchi with Pesto Genovese, Roasted Chicken with Rosemary & Sage Polenta, and let’s not forget the Hazelnut Tiramisu.
