When you are a chef (at Heirloom Kitchen) you’re usually too busy to be engulfed in politics. In fact, after studying cuisines from all over the world, it’s easier to see the similarities of close-by countries, even if you know that they differ when it comes to their leadership or ideals. Greece and Turkey, Israel and Palestine, all have such deeply rooted culinary traditions that originated far before territory battles. Being the peace warriors we are, we’d like to share with you the beauty that lies in the Israeli and Palestinian region of the world by teaching you their finest recipes. Please, come only with love in your hearts, and the ability to see past differences when sitting across our dinner table.
