If you have tried Pozole before, you know it is a tasty, filling, and above all, nutritious soup. Typically, this soup is eaten for dinner, and it’s a classic dish in Mexican Fiestas during the cold nights of winter. At the heart of pozole is hominy, an ancient preparation of maize (corn) with a unique texture. Hominy is maize treated with natural minerals in a process that unlocks its flavors and puffs it up to a larger size. When simmered in the broth for pozole, it’s incredibly tender and delicious. This class will give you the confidence to cook Pozole Verde & Rojo with all the fixings in your own kitchen.
